The CYCLONE 150 is a new addition in ASI’s wheel drive portfolio. Designed for indoor mobile robot applications, such as tunnel-style AGVs, it includes a 6″ (~150 mm) drive wheel with a PMDC or BLDC motor with a shaft-mounted rotary encoder, and optional electromagnetic power-off brake. The traction drive includes an incremental rotary encoder, and it has an integrated steering motor that rotates the assembly around a fixed slew gear, and it has a towing capacity of over 1700 pounds. A brushless steer motor with an integrated encoder and control electronics is also available.
